Cultivate Play, PLLC is a mobile occupational therapy service that provides OT to children in their natural environments, at their homes, preschools, and within the community. Cultivate Play, PLLC specializes in neurodiversity affirming and play based services.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated neurodiversity affirming Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing specialized therapy services to children in their homes, preschools, and in the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving pediatric patient outcomes, use a child-led and play based approach, and possess the skills necessary to develop and implement individualized care plans. This role involves working with children with diverse needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and other disabilities. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote meaningful occupational participation.
This position is available as part time now with growth to full time available beginning in August 2026. This position is fee-for-service with paid documentation/admin time and offers mileage reimbursement. Sessions will be located primarily within Rutherford County.
Training and certification in DIR Floortime, or willingness to become trained and certified are a requirement for this position.
Qualifications
Valid TN state licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatrics.
Strong knowledge of neurodiversity, physiology, anatomy, neuroscience, medical terminology, and pediatric developmental milestones.
Familiarity with working with individuals with autism and other disabilities from a strengths-based approach.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong clinical reasoning skills and comfortable with providing therapy within the home environment.
Certification in DIR-Floortime or willingness to become certified after hire.
Competence with providing affirming emotional regulation, interoception, and sensory processing interventions.
1+ years experience preferred
